Your hands tied? Learning the ropes? In suspense?
Come to our Rope Jam!
We provide an introductory lesson during the first hour, space to tie, and guidance on safety. It’s an opportunity to practice, share, and learn from peers!
What to Bring:
We recommend bringing rope, safety scissors, a mat or blanket, and water or other non-alcoholic drinks. All rigging gear must be approved for human suspension and aerial work will be monitored for safety.
What to Wear:
Comfortable attire! If you’re being tied, consider more fitted clothing, bras without underwire, or basically any clothing that might feel comfortable under rope.
Who can Join:
Rope Jams are open to members and non-members! They’re a fun way to learn a new skill, make friends, and check out the Chain Reaction Lab.
About the host:
Rick is a local member of the Chain Reaction Lab. He has spent many hours learning from well-respected rope masters and kink educators. He enjoys practicing the techniques as well as watching and working with some of Central Illinois' most respected rope tops.
